Stay in one of Lahinch’s distinctive original Toblerone houses – a charming style of holiday home named for its unusual triangular shape. This is one of the original, unextended properties, offering a cosy and authentic Lahinch experience in a wonderfully convenient location.

Compact, characterful and full of charm, this is a great choice for guests who want a simple base close to everything Lahinch has to offer. Spend your days at the beach, surfing, walking along the coast or exploring West Clare, then come home to this cosy traditional home.

The house has three double bedrooms, each with a small double bed, and sleeps up to six guests. There is one bathroom and a small, practical kitchen with a breakfast counter and two stools.

Also ideal for three friends travelling together, with each person having their own bedroom, while sharing a cosy and convenient base in Lahinch.

One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, along with the bathroom, while the other two bedrooms are upstairs. One of the upstairs bedrooms enjoys lovely views across the surrounding fields towards the ocean.

A little more about the house:

This is a traditional, compact Toblerone house, and its charm comes from its original design. It has not been extended, so the accommodation is cosy and compact rather than spacious.

The house is arranged over two floors. The staircase is narrow and quite steep, reflecting the original design of these homes. For this reason, the property may not be suitable for elderly guests or anyone who finds stairs difficult. Photos of the staircase are provided in the listing so that guests can assess whether the layout is suitable for their needs.

The kitchen is small and there is no separate dining room or dining table. Instead, there is a breakfast counter with two stools. With six guests, the house is therefore better suited to relaxed meals, takeaways and casual dining rather than sitting down together around a dining table.

The bedrooms also have small double beds, and the overall layout is best suited to guests who appreciate a cosy holiday home rather than those looking for lots of space.

Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM.

Early check-in and late check-out can be requested during booking, but may be cancelled if we have a same-day arrival or departure. If cancelled, any extra fee will be fully refunded.

Your Stay Will Include:

Fresh bed linen and towels, and complimentary hand soap.
We do not provide toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner or body wash, or hairdryers, so please bring your own.

You will also have 24/7 host access. Please note that a €100 physical call-out fee applies between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM for issues that are not our responsibility, such as lost keys or party complaints. Fee does not apply to phone calls.

Families & Children:

Children and babies are welcome, but please note that our properties are not childproof. We do not provide stair gates, cupboard locks or other child safety equipment.

We do not provide baby cots or highchairs, but guests are welcome to bring their own. Adult supervision is required at all times, particularly around stairs, open fires and outdoor areas.

Firewood or logs if applicable, toiletries and any baby or child safety equipment you require. We do not provide cots, highchairs, stair gates or hairdryers.
