PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
We recommend that you book as early as possible especially if you are planning your holiday for the busy months of July and August. Ireland has numerous bank holidays during the summer season and these tend to be booked up at an early stage.
You must be aged 21 years or more to book a holiday with Lahinch Property Management, and there must be at least one adult (aged 21 years or more) travelling on any one booking.
A non-refundable booking deposit of €150.00 per property/ per week is required to confirm accommodation (larger properties – the booking deposit may be higher). Confirmation will be issued to you upon receipt of deposit. The balance is due 4 weeks prior to arrival. Guests should contact regarding the balance. Directions and instructions regarding arrival at the property will be issued on receipt of balance of payment.
Please specify your preferred accommodation unit on booking, which will be allocated to you strictly subject to availability. The supervisor reserves the right to allocate another unit other than your choice. If this is for an example an apartment and you have paid for a townhouse a refund will be given.
The number of persons stated on the reservation form must not be exceeded without first contacting the reservations office. If the rental is based on occupancy number, an additional charge will be made over the number occupying the property.
NO parties allowed in any of the properties. The supervisor reserves the right to ask guests to leave should this rule be broken in any way. The supervisor reserves the right to charge the guest for any damage or distress caused, even amounts exceeding the amount of the damage deposit.
NO smoking allowed inside any of the properties or within 10 metres of the property. The supervisor reserves the right to charge the guest for any smoke damage caused, exceeding the amount of the damage deposit.
Requests for cots and high chairs must be made on booking and while we will endeavour where possible to meet your request, it cannot be guaranteed. Cot linen must be brought along with you.
A €200 security deposit must be paid on cash on arrival, and may be held up to 7 days after check-out. This will be returned to you provided that the Supervisor is satisfied that the terms and conditions have been complied with. Cost of repairs to property as a result of negligence will be deducted from security deposit, with an additional charge where the deposit is insufficient.
Any changes to your reservation must be made as early as possible by e-mail. In the event of a cancellation deposits are non-refundable but at times they may be used for a booking at another stage. In the event of a no-show we are obliged to hold all monies paid to us.
In the event of a cancellation:
4+ weeks prior to arrival - 100% refund (Booking deposit is non refundable)
2 to 4 weeks before date of arrival - 50% refund
2 weeks or less before arrival - No refund
In the unlikely event of our having to cancel your holiday, we will offer you the choice of a full refund of all monies paid to us or of staying in an alternative holiday home of comparable standard if available.
If clients behave in a disruptive manner, cause damage to property or behave in any other manner deemed unreasonable by company manager, Lahinch Property Management may terminate the clients' stay with no rental refund.
Checking-in and Checking-out
Possession of your rental property should be taken between 16.00hrs and 18.00hrs. If you require an early check-in it must be arranged prior to arrival. Lahinch Property Management cannot guarantee check-ins prior to 4:00pm. If you wish to check in after 18.00hrs, the ESB metre will be read prior to your arrival (if applicable), and a key will be left for you to access your holiday home at the hour you wish to arrive.
Please contact the onsite Supervisor with an estimated time of arrival. Failure to notify the Supervisor of late arrival may result in loss of booking. It is advised that you keep in contact with the Supervisor, should you be delayed. Lahinch Property Management office hours are Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday, Monday, & Friday 10am-1pm (closed Tuesday-Thursday). The property is to be vacated by 10.00 hrs on the morning of departure. Late check-outs may be requested, however it must be arranged prior to the date of your departure. We ask that houses be left as they were found.
Heating and electricity is an extra charge payable to our Supervisor on departure. Electricity charges are in most cases based on individual meter readings and it is recommended that the cost per unit be checked at the outset. Some properties are charged at a daily rate, and others, it is included in the rate; please enquire at the time of booking.
Pets (with the exception of guide dogs) are not permitted at most properties. Where pets are permitted, there will be an additional charge of €25/pet per week.
Telephone & Internet access
Telephone and internet access is not available in all properties - please enquire on booking.
Any complaints should be notified to the onsite manager immediately to give them the opportunity to rectify matters. All complaints must be made to Lahinch Property Management within 7 days of departure.
Any dispute or difference of any kind whatsoever which arises or occurs between any of the parties hereto in relation to any thing or matter arising under, out of or in connection with this Contract shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Rules of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – Irish Branch. Alternatively a claim may be pursued through the Small Claims Court.
Whilst every care has been taken to ensure accuracy in the compilation and checking of information and tariffs on this website, Lahinch Property Management cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions. All liability for loss caused by the reliance on the information contained on this website is hereby excluded. In the unlikely event that there is a miscalculation of the amounts due on your booking, we will inform you immediately giving details of the correct price thereby giving you the opportunity to accept or decline your reservation based on the recalculated rate.
If as a consequence of “Force Majeure”, Lahinch Property Management is forced to curtail, alter or cancel a holiday, the Client shall not be at liberty to maintain a claim for compensation or otherwise arising as a consequence of the said curtailment, alteration or cancellation of the holiday. In these terms and conditions the term Force Majeure shall mean Acts of God, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, fire, destruction or damage to holiday accommodation, riots, acts of civil war, civil commotion, requisition of property, insolvency or default of any provider of the accommodation, delays due to construction, or any other reason or event which Lahinch Property Management acting as Agents even with all due care, could not foresee or forestall.
The Proprietors, Supervisors and Officers of Failte Ireland may at all times visit your rental property to inspect the property or carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
The Proprietors are not responsible for any loss of valuables or property during your stay or left behind after departure.
Lahinch Property Management reserves the right of final acceptance or refusal of all bookings.
